About a month ago, we sent out invites for a baby shower not realizing that we had picked possibly the busiest Sunday in September to throw a party – Burlington’s Pride, Open Streets, Grace Potter’s music festival, and Rosh Hashanah. In spite of all of the other events going on, so many people came over to celebrate the impending arrival of Baby #2. It was great seeing people from different parts of our life in one place, and there was no shortage of playmates – young and old – for the soon-to-be big brother (he even got some presents too). I wish we had a few more pictures, but I guess the lack of pictures means that we were too busy having fun!
Erin’s mom had this old wine crate in her basement that had belonged to Erin’s Grandpa Moreau. Apparently, the wine was terrible, but he was loyal to the vintner that shared his last name. We’re naming our baby boy Julian, so the “J. Moreau” is doubly meaningful.
