2016 Holiday Wrap Up

It’s back to the real world tomorrow and I’m not ready for the holiday season to be over 😭

Today we packed up all the decorations. Julian cried when Erin brought the tree out to the curb. Our house feels so naked!

No more magical tableaux await us when we wake up in the morning.

This was the first Christmas where Henry wanted one specific gift – a Lego freight train. He has been talking about this thing every day since mid October.

Santa must have been feeling extra generous on account of the reindeer carrots (thanks to Uncle Pat for the realistic bite marks).

Julian didn’t have any special requests, but he seemed pleased with his new reading chair and books.

It was a busy weeks, so I’ll leave it up to a smattering of photos to sum up the rest…

More selfie stick selfies…

Boxing Day night out!

Happy New Year! Big thanks to Erin for holding down the fort so I could go out dancing at the last minute with another mama.

New Year’s Day belated Christmas celebrations.

  1. Oh my gosh, I LOVE all the jammies in this post! And I’m super jealous of the eggs benedict. Looks like a great Christmas! I am also feeling really sad that the holidays are already over. As with every year, I’ll start focusing on Valentine’s Day for some sort of bright spot on the calendar.
